FAQ

  • Credits are charged per location-day and depend on the method: mean uses 0.05 credits, min/max 0.10, and hourly integration 1.0. Example: one site for a year with the mean method costs 365 × 0.05 = 18.25 credits. Use the configurator below to estimate monthly use for your portfolio and refresh pattern.

  • All Web Suite tools are powered by our REST API, so you can pull degree-day results, run regression analyses, normalize consumption, or generate certificates directly from your code. You can also export results as CSV or JSON from the web applications.

  • Yes. Our API documentation page links to the full Degree-Days-as-a-Service reference (V2.0) with endpoints, request examples, response schemas, and code snippets.

  • We combine ISD, MADIS, DWD, GHCN-Daily station records with ERA5 and MERRA-2 reanalysis to produce continuous hourly or daily weather series for any location you pass to the API.

  • Further API requests return HTTP 429 until your quota resets. You can purchase a one-off credit top-up or upgrade to a higher tier.

  • During Paddle checkout, click Add VAT ID in the payment step to enter your company billing address and tax details.
